In the aftermath of borderland unrest, the adventurers arrive in Dwerlin’s Forge, the magnificent capital of the dwarven kingdoms—a bastion of freedom carved from the bones of the earth. Once enslaved by the Aurelian Dominion, the dwarves now revel in self-rule, craftsmanship, and fierce independence. But beneath the clang of hammers and roar of furnaces, ancient fractures begin to widen.
Rival guilds wage shadow wars over power and profit. The city guard is riddled with corruption, and the Unalloyed seek to expel all non-dwarves from the kingdom. Meanwhile, a secretive faction known only as the Fractured Truth moves in silence, working to return the dwarves to Aurelian control. Amidst the growing tension, whispers tell of Calingir the Cruel, once cast into magical exile, is free once more—with ill intent and a plan to reconquer the continent that was once his.
